RiverStone Health offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the needs of our employees.

The following is a summary of our benefit plan documents. Full descriptions of each plan can be obtained through

Health Benefits

Medical Insurance
Eligibility: Regular employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Coverage effective date: Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of eligible status.
Description: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana, A traditional 80/20 plan with a Flexible Spending Account/Dependant Care option or a High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account. Both plans offer Pharmacy.

Dental Insurance
Eligibility: Regular employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Coverage effective date: Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of eligible status.
Description: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana, 80/20 plan

Life and Accidental Death &Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
Eligibility: Regular employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Coverage effective date: Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of eligible status.
Description: Unum Life Insurance Company; Employer paid covers 75% of base annual salary to a maximum of $40,000
(Supplemental Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment available through Unum, employer pays 50% of premium up to $50,000)

Long Term Disability
Eligibility: Regular employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Coverage effective date: Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of eligible status.
Description: Unum Life Insurance Company, paid for by Employer

Short Term Disability
Eligibility: Regular employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Coverage effective date: Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of eligible status.
Description: Unum Life Insurance Company, paid for by Employee


Retirement

401(a) Plan
Eligibility: Mandatory if scheduled to work more than 960 hours per fiscal year
Coverage effective date: immediate upon hire
Description: Plan is through the Montana Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS), two plan choices.

401(a) Plan
Eligibility: Optional for employees who work less than 960 hours per fiscal year
Coverage effective date: immediate upon hire
Description: Plan is through the Montana Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS), two plan choices.

Deferred Compensation (457) Retirement Plan
Eligibility: All employees are eligible
Coverage Effective Date: open enrollment
Description: (2) options, ICMA-RC Services or Nationwide Retirement Solutions


Time Off

Vacation, Sick, Holiday, Floating Holiday
Eligibility: all employees
Effective Date: eligible to use accrued vacation hours after 6 months from date of hire, eligible to use accrued sick hours 3 months from date of hire,  eligible to use holiday time off immediately.
Description: accrued proportionately to the number of hours worked in fiscal year
