Daniel Hillman
Vice President of Information Services

Daniel Hillman didn’t just find the mission of RiverStone Health interesting, he found it so compelling that he quit his job, packed up his family and moved more than 2,000 miles to accept the position of vice president of Information Services and the challenges that go with it. Why RiverStone Health? "I have always wanted to make the world a better place," Hillman says.

Daniel is one of those guys who is at his best when faced with a challenge. He’s burning the midnight oil in his quest to help the organization connect customers to quality healthcare services and information. Along the way, he’s found innovative ways to use technology to help RiverStone Health provide even higher-quality healthcare and services.

That sounds good, but what does he (or any other information technology executive) actually do?  Hillman works his magic so that health policy, infrastructure and network security seamlessly come together. That’s not easy, but he has the background to make it so — from designing and implementing an e-commerce portal to consulting with financial and medical institutions on network infrastructure and security. His experience leading information technology teams for the General Services Administration in Washington, D.C., the world’s largest landlord and premier acquisition agency (the GSA manages contracts but is not a contractor), provided him with the knowledge to guide government agencies and entrepreneurial organizations to innovative technology solutions.

In his spare time, Hillman also serves as Chief Information Officer for the Montana Community Health Center HIT Network.
