Community Crisis Center

In response to the growing crisis in unmet mental health and substance abuse intervention needs, we joined forces with our community partners - the South Central Regional Mental Health Center, Billings Clinic, and Saint Vincent Healthcare - to run the Community Crisis Center.

We have created a single point-of-access and a community system of outpatient care for those with mental illness and co-occurring mental illness/substance abuse disorders.

Based on a “no wrong door” philosophy, the Community Crisis Center reduces excessive use of costly but less-effective resources. To date, the Community Crisis Center is the first of its kind in the state and is serving as a model for other communities.
