Tattoo & Piercing Establishments

RiverStone Health Environmental Health Services licenses and inspects tattoo and piercing establishments in Yellowstone County. The Department of Public Health and Human Services has rules and regulations concerning these establishments, however the Board of Health determined the need for rules that pertain specifically to our county. We license establishment, not the artist. We also conduct blood-borne pathogen training classes for tattoo & piercing artists on an annual basis.
