Maternal Child Health

Available to residents of Yellowstone, Musselshell and Carbon Counties, Maternal Child Health services are available to:

• Pregnant women
• Families with infants
• Pre-school age children
• Children with special healthcare needs

The Maternal Child Health program provides home visitation to families. The advantage of home visiting is that it gives us an opportunity to understand health-related behaviors within our client's normal surroundings. A team of professionals assesses family stressors and provides guidance for life changes specific to nutrition counseling, medical and health factors and basic needs. We offer a comprehensive program of prenatal, perinatal and pediatric education and case management services in coordination with other public and private assistance organizations.
