RiverStone Health oversees the federal Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Yellowstone County, providing:

• Nutrition assessment
• Education
• Referrals to healthcare services and community resources
• Food vouchers to
  • Pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women
  • Fathers
  • Custodial grandparents
  • Relatives and foster families caring for children up to 5 years of age

School Nursing Services

RiverStone Health school nursing services delivers medical care in educational settings within Yellowstone County. We have been the comprehensive source of health and safety care within the local school community for over 30 years.

Optimal learning requires good health, and we are proud to be the first connection for families who wish to receive the additional services and referrals they may need. We offer extensive resources to families through our relationship with Montana’s school districts.

Family Health Services

Available to residents of Yellowstone, Musselshell and Carbon Counties, RiverStone Health family health services are available to:

• Pregnant women
• Families with infants
• Pre-school age children
• Children with special healthcare needs

Services are provided in client homes or at our office. Professionals assess family stressors and provide guidance for life changes specific to nutrition counseling, medical and health factors and basic needs.

We offer a comprehensive program of prenatal, perinatal and pediatric education and case management services in coordination with other public and private assistance organizations.
